H₂O catalog

H2O is a catalogue that promotes the new wastewater treatment plant in Rovinj, one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in this part of Europe. In coastal cities, where water is a vital resource, such a system plays an important role. The catalogue explains the reasons for its construction, the financial structure, and the technical aspects of the system.

The core of the wastewater treatment plant is membrane filtration, which allows water to pass through while retaining suspended particles, microorganisms, bacteria, and most viruses, acting as a permanent physical barrier. Inspired by a sieve, we used it as the visual motif for the cover. Instead of printing, we applied laser perforation, eliminating the need for water and ink – an ecological choice highlighted on the first blue page. The sieve motif structures the catalogue’s layout. H2O is also the logo of a future water-themed park, creating a strong visual identity.
