The project 'It's Time for Your Time' won the Cannes Lion
From the recently held Cannes Lions festival, Studio Tumpić/Prenc from Rovinj returned with a lion for the packaging design of a special edition of Teran Barrique wine from Franc Arman winery from Vižinada. The Cannes Lion-winning project 'Time is for your time' is a bottle of aged wine, locked in a box and inaccessible for opening until a certain level of maturation. The bottle is accompanied by a mobile application that, via a QR code on the box, sends messages to the owner of the bottle over a longer period of time, educating them about the history of enology and the beauty of winemaking, and at the designated time, a code for opening the wine with the message 'Time is for your time'. This is the first time that two Croatian works have made it to the finals of the competition in the same year. Namely, in addition to winning the lion for wine packaging design, Studio Tumpić/Prenc also earned a place in the finals this year with the design of the packaging for Istriana olive oil. This is the packaging design for Istrian extra virgin olive oil, which represents the reconstruction of parts of an amphora joined into a whole, thus symbolically returning fragments of forgotten knowledge to modern olive growing.
